Support for high growth firms has been identified as a significant area in the LEP’s Productivity and Growth Strategy. It is leading the delivery of a more co-ordinated, simplified and tailored business support service with a central role for the Solent Growth Hub which includes deepening diagnostic and advisory services to identify the growth barriers of businesses and actions and services to address these.

Ambitious business leaders who have been trading for at least 2 years with 10 to 250 staff and turnover between £250k and £25m are offered 12 hours of one-to-one advice from expert growth coaches plus a series of masterclasses on topics such as exports, sales, and workforce development through the Growth Accelerator Programme. Graduation from the programme results in a detailed growth action plan and businesses have the opportunity to access funding of up to £500,000 to support delivery of their plan.
