Local LEP ScaleUp Programmes

Cumbrian scale ups can obtain a diagnostic and expert support through Growth Catalyst, delivered by the LEP’s local partner, the Cumbria Chamber of Commerce. This package provides a one-to-one health check, specialist tailored advice and business workshops to help businesses identify ways of growing and becoming more productive. The local ecosystem comprises a wide network of partners who offer guidance for growth and diversification through national schemes such as Be the Business and Made Smarter.

Cumbria LEP also has close links with the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, British Business Bank and other bodies that help businesses seeking access to finance and works closely with the Department for International Trade to improve access to markets.
