Cheshire and Warrington LEP delivers services to businesses with the ambition and ability to scale successfully through its Growth and Skills Hub which builds trusted relationships with businesses and works with public and private sector providers to deliver high-value support that is right for an individual company and business leader. A priority has been to create the right conditions for scaleups and through these times of health and economic challenges it has worked closely with all providers to ensure they tailor their support offer to particular business needs.

Businesses benefit from a number of scaleup programmes that exist in the sub region, such as the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund which offers a suite of business loans and the dedicated Cheshire and Warrington Access to Finance and Grant Programme. The Manufacturing Growth Programme helps manufacturing businesses to identify, understand and remove their barriers to growth and Made Smarter supports manufacturers with the adoption and exportation of advanced digital technologies. A range of projects provide innovation support from academic and private sector partners including Enterprise Europe Network while Accelerate Cheshire and Warrington supports businesses with access to funding for skills and development training.
