D2N2 established UpScaler with Nottingham Trent University’s Nottingham Business School and the East Midlands Chamber to provide a specially focussed programme for fast growing businesses. Businesses joining Upscaler start with a diagnostic from one of two specialist business advisers. Participants are then signposted towards a range of activities, including a Leadership and Management Development programme targeting priorities, such as strategic and team development, leadership financial management and access to new markets. The programme also includes access to Nottingham Trent University’s new Dryden Enterprise Centre with its growth space and referrals to other programmes such Innovate UK Edge and Productivity through Innovation.
Women business leaders can also be referred for high level skill training to Nottingham Trent University’s Women in Leadership course which covers core leadership challenges as well as specific issues for women leaders such as career management, influencing and communications.
