Local LEP ScaleUp Programmes

The Inspire programme offers networking, training and one-to-one advice and mentoring support and refers participants to other programmes including the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK. It has remained online, delivering both one-to-one meetings and peer-to-peer events and webinars. Further support is available through a Virtual Board in which participants can consult highly experienced, successful non-executive directors (NEDs) through a programme of quarterly one-to-ones.
A new Knowledge Accelerator programme was launched in May to respond to learnings that business leaders were still struggling to define their strategy in writing and that this could be one of the inhibiting factors for low levels of attracting funding. The programme supports entrepreneurs in defining and pinning down their business strategy to resolve this challenge. It consists of workshops and targeted one-to-one support.
