Local LEP ScaleUp Programmes

At the end of 2018 Hertfordshire LEP strengthened its local Growth Hub by awarding a two-year contract to a consortium led by business support services provider Exemplas together with the University of Hertfordshire and Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce. Growth Hub is working on extending its reach by co-ordinating business support providers and connecting ambitious businesses to targeted support.

As well as up to two hours of advice with a growth expert, businesses can access a number of programmes. Examples are Innovate 2 Succeed – a mentoring service to help them enhance their innovative capabilities and exploit their ideas commercially – Get Exporting 2 – a tailored programme of advice and assistance, both financial and 1-2-1, to enable them to begin selling overseas or to expand internationally.
