The LEP’s Scale-Up Business Development Programme is targeted at senior leaders of SMEs to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise to enable them to grow their businesses. The newly-formed LEP has launched its first strategy for the region with one of the priorities being to ensure a productive and innovative economy by developing innovation, investment and trade. It is participating in Help to Grow: Digital - a UK-wide scheme to help SMEs to adopt digital techlologies with impartial advice on needs, purchasing options and implementation as well as funding to introduce digital technology solutions.
