The Mayor’s International Business Programme (MIBP) also provides world class support to scaleups to grow their business overseas.

London’s Growth Hub has recently rebranded as the London Business Hub and launched a new portal (www.businesshub.london) to provide businesses with their own personal dashboard of tailormade support. In addition to this, a number of new business support programmes were launched which can be found on the website. The London Business Hub has now launched five physical hubs across the capital with one-to-one support available, alongside an accelerator offered to businesses with growth ambitions. A dedicated Covid-19 Hub has been provided within the new portal where businesses can find access to free support, guidance, programmes and events focused on supporting them through the pandemic. The hub is updated daily

The London Resilience Fund – the Mayor’s £1 million innovation programme – was launched alongside the new portal. This Fund aims to help London’s businesses and community groups emerge stronger from the current coronavirus crisis, and to ensure the capital is better prepared for future disruptive challenges. Businesses, social enterprises and community groups will be matched with innovators who will help them find new ways of delivering their products and services to keep up with the accelerated pace of change after the pandemic and to improve their own resilience to future shocks. Grants of up to £30,000 will be available to support designing and testing these innovations.
