Solent LEP is working with partners across the area to provide a range of expert programmes to businesses. Get Set for Solent, delivered by YTKO, is a European funded programme for growth businesses. Expert advice and grant funding is available.
The LEP is delivering a range of peer network groups with some focused groups for Tech, Creatives, Construction, Ethnic minorities and Female entrepreneurs. Further new support includes a Digital Accelerator Programme and Potential Exporters Programme.

The LEP is working to secure Freeport status for the Solent which will provide a range of opportunities for businesses, creating circa 50,000 jobs and boosting investment. A collaboration involving Maritime UK Solent, Solent Maritime Enterprise Zone and Connected Places Catapult is focused on maximising the Solent’s potential as a maritime cluster. The Solent Maritime Innovation Gateway will act as a catalyst for transforming the region by co-ordinating and connecting the business ecosystem.
