Local LEP ScaleUp Programmes

SEMLEP has a dedicated programme for high-growth businesses: Growth Curve run by the LEP’s Growth Hub in partnership with the Universities of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire and Cranfield University. As part of the programme businesses take part in a specialist university masterclass, receive one-to-one support from a high growth business adviser and have access to a grant programme and peer network. Between July 2019 and September 2020 over 140 high-growth businesses have received support from high growth business advisers with nearly 100 benefitting further through university masterclasses. Businesses in the South East Midlands LEP area can also apply for finance through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF).
