Local LEP ScaleUp Programmes

A strong, well-established partnership network delivers scaleup services in the area, ensuring growing companies have access to a range of services and experience. A Partnership Group and the Enterprise Round Table support intelligence sharing and joint working opportunities.

Support is bespoke and tailored to each company’s growth status, current position and ambition. Staffordshire’s 100 largest companies are mainly supported through the Make It Stoke and Staffordshire while Specialist Growth Hub Advisers use an account management model to target SMEs with demonstrable growth potential. A software package called GROWTHMapper is now used with businesses identified as having high growth and the Hub also has a specialist business diagnostic for those showing good growth potential. Partner organisations are included in the team and assist by providing access to business growth services such as leadership and manufacturing techniques.
