Barclays Eagle Labs is a UK-wide entrepreneurial ecosystem supporting early stage scaling and scaleups through mentoring, tailored growth programmes, dedicated workspaces, and connections to investors, corporates and sector specialists. Designed to help companies progress from early development through to scaling, the network provides founders with the infrastructure, capability support and market access needed to grow. It brings together thought leaders, industry bodies, corporates, academics, and startups to provide the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to collaborate and innovate.
Through Barclays Demo Directory, founders can showcase their business to potential investors with 2,000+ founders and over 800 investors – including angels, VCs, family offices, and private equity firms – registered to the platform.
Eagle Labs provide dedicated scaleup support and their Scaleup programme is currently supporting 18 mature scaleup businesses who have already raised £96m in funding. Previous scaleup programmes (including the 2025 cohort) have supported 118 companies who have raised £366m in lifetime funding. £88.3m has been raised since attending the programme.
In 2025, 44 scaleup founders have also been supported through international expansion roundtables, 50 businesses through scaleup workshops and 21 founders have benefitted from executive coaching from partners.
Eagle Labs Community provides access to all the support available from Eagle Labs where founders can view and register for growth programmes, events, unlock Member Rewards and browse and request mentoring sessions.
In addition, there’s a national network of 43 sites across the UK offering founders co-working facilities and support from a dedicated Ecosystem Manager.
Eagle Labs have been supporting entrepreneurs since 2015 and a total of £5.794 billion in lifetime funding has been raised by Eagle Labs members, participants, and alumni.
