The Energy Systems Catapult is a UK innovation centre dedicated to accelerating the transformation of the country’s energy systems to meet net-zero targets and support a more sustainable future. It provides a range of services, from policy advice and consumer research to technical support and digital modelling, enabling stakeholders to explore and implement cleaner, more efficient energy systems. The Catapult plays a crucial role in addressing challenges such as decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and resilience, supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy (“Energy Systems Catapult”). Through collaborative projects and its expertise in system design, the Catapult contributes to creating an energy ecosystem that is flexible, reliable, and aligned with future demands.
