The Spark to Scale programme is a fully funded, selective programme delivered by the GM Business Growth Hub. Launched in September 2025, it is aimed at Greater Manchester founders and business owners with turnover of at least £120,000, two or more employees and plans to move from stability to scale.
The six-week programme supports cohorts of 15–20 participants through one full-day and five half-day workshops, one-to-one support and facilitated peer networking. It covers growth strategy, innovation, customer acquisition, scaling teams, people management, social value and finance.
A dedicated Network Manager supports each cohort and connects participants with relevant support from the GM Business Growth Hub and the wider business support network. At the end of the programme, participants are matched with an experienced mentor and provided with tailored resources and ongoing support.
