The Global Incubator Programme is an acceleration programme for innovative scaling businesses to explore the potential of overseas markets, giving them the opportunity to spend time in world-leading incubators abroad. It offers a three stage method to tackle the challenges that most companies face when entering global business markets and access world-class mentors and tailored workspaces. The programme currently operates with four countries: the USA, Canada, Singapore, and Australia.
The three stages of the programme include: A two-day preparation workshop in the UK; a market visit to consider technology and market fit, preliminary customer validation and an introduction to ecosystem players, plus a strategic development plan and 3-6 months in the incubator within the market country with a tailored programme of activities; and the exploitation of potential funding, connections, skills and expertise required to enable opportunities to help participating businesses grow.
