Back to programmesThe South Yorkshire Innovation Programme (SYIP) is a regional initiative led by Sheffield Hallam University, in partnership with the University of Sheffield, local councils and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Backed by £3 million of funding, SYIP offers tailored innovation support including academic consultancy, technical audits, student-projects, access to specialist facilities and workshops to organisations of all sizes across all sectors in South Yorkshire. The programme aims to help scaling businesses develop new products or services, improve processes and access new markets through collaboration with leading academic and technical expertise
