The South Yorkshire Innovation Programme (SYIP) is a regional initiative led by Sheffield Hallam University, in partnership with the University of Sheffield, local councils and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Backed by £3 million of funding, SYIP offers tailored innovation support including academic consultancy, technical audits, student-projects, access to specialist facilities and workshops to organisations of all sizes across all sectors in South Yorkshire.
