Scaleup Green Economy Index
When it comes to improving our environment and tackling climate change, we are all in this together. This is reflected in the composition of the 282 ‘visible’ scaleups who have broken through the £10.2m barrier, that feature in our first Green Economy Index. They range from automotive design and anaerobic digestion to waste management and water treatment – and they are widely distributed throughout the UK.
The 282 scaleups employ a combined total of 43,922 people and have combined turnover of £9bn. The average member of this cohort of scaleups employs 156 people with revenues of £31.7m.
